Ok, this is an odd one, but I could use some assistance with the
framework 2 in VB.Net...
I want to have a DataGridViewColumn, only have it use the ComboBox, then
when they drop down the combobox, open up another datagridview instead
of the combobox dropdownlist. The reason I want to do this, is so I can
show more than one column at a time...

Hi,
I have been trying to see if I can do the following:
1. Create a DataGridView
2. Create 2 columns in the DataGridView (1 textbox and the other combobox)
3. Create a DataTable containing my data. (AutoGenerateColumns is true).
The data is 2 columns of System.String cell.
4. If I assign the DataTable to DataGridView.DataSource, I get...

Hi,
I am having difficulties creating a derived class for
DisabledDataGridViewTextBoxColumn and cell when the VisualStyle is not
supported. Basically I am down to either using ControlPaint or Graphics
to achieve this. But with Graphics, I am not sure how I can make them
diabled.
Below are my codes:

Hey everyone...
I've got three problems with a custom DataGridView column I've built
following the "How To: Host Controls in Windows Forms DataGridView
Cells" article. The base editing control is a ComboBox which is
similar to the built-in Combo column but will hopefully be more
flexible.
First: I am using this control in multiple...

Hi All :)
I'm converting VB6 using True DBGrid Pro 8.0 to VB2005 using DataGridView.
True DBGrid has a MultipleLines property that controls whether individual
records span multiple lines. Is there an equivalent property for the
DataGridView? I have searched, but have not found one.
I would like the user to be able to see all the columns...

Hi!
I have an application in which I have some checkboxes and depending
which ones are checked those columns will show in the datagridview
from sql server or no.
After that I have 2 buttons:
1) export to excel button exports the visible columns from the
datagridview to excel (this works fine)

Hi All,
I'd like to display password characters in a DataGridView column, the
same way I can do in a standard TextBox by using the PasswordChar
property (i.e.typed characters replaced by a star for instance).
Can anyone tell me how?
Thanks

I'm trying to make a datagridview column to act like a datetimepicker column (C#.Net 2005). These are the behaviours that the dgv should have:
1) Initially all the cells of the dtp column should be blank unless they are filled by the user.
2) As soon as the user enters a cell, the dtp control should appear as the editing control of that cell. If...

I'm having a really strange issue with the DataGridView control in a VS2008 / .NET 3.5 winforms project. I have a simple form with a grid. In the form constructor I call a function to bind the grind to a DataTable, and then loop through the rows setting the background colour of the last cell to LightGrey and the cell itself to read-only if the...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in...
