Hello!
I'm using PHP Version 4.3.3RC5-dev with GD Version bundled (2.0.15
compatible) to generated some graphics based on mysql data and to my
surprise when I use the GD function imageline($im, $x1, $y1, $x2, $y2,
$cl); (with $cl being the collorallocated via function) the line is
draw dirtying the contiguous pixels of the image ($im), making some
extra pixels around the background. I've removed my jpeg background
and the problem...

I have multi-page tiff files. I need to extract individual frames from the
multi-page tiffs and save them as single-page tiffs. 95% of the time I
receive multi-page tiffs containing 1 or more black and white CCITT4
compressed files (frames) inside the tiff. Every now and then I receive a
mixture of black and white CCITT4 and JPEG compressed files, and sometimes

Hi everyone,
I'm using the System.Drawing.Imaging.Bitmap to retrieve and modify the
metadata tags (user comments, keywords etc) of JPEGS. I was wondering if
changing these tags in any way degrades the image quality of the JPEG. I am
using SetPropertyItem to change the tag value and then calling the Save
method to save the JPEG under a different name (you have to do this because
GDI holds a lock on the original file)....

a small logo/tekst will appear in the image.
I know it's possible but I haven't got a clue how to get a logo or tekst on

Hi I got this code to read in a file to the database, if use it to save a
image from a picturebox to the database it works ok, but now I use it to
directly save a file to the database without loading the image in a
picturebox and it also works but there's a black line drawn from
coordinates(0,0) to coordinates(image.width,0) when I look at the blob field
using crystal reports 9, the line normaly isn't there.What am I doing wrong?

We have a page that is loading very slow. There is not a lot of data, not a
lot of users are connected at the same time and the page does not produce an
error, so I am not sure where to start to look for why it is slowing down. I
thought about the DB first and added NOLOCK to a couple of stored procedures
that were being run, but with no effect. Can someone offer some tips on where

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
