Hi Forum, i have a problem, hope somebody can give me ideas. I'm
developing with windows forms and vb.net, and oracle as a database. At
this moment i have a table called amortizaciones, this table has a
field called id_pasivo, which is foreign key to another table called
pasivo, a consecutive field called no_cupon and a third field called

Hi,
using the DataGridView (.NET 2005) :
I have a row currently selected in the Grid (say the 3rd row showing
'Product3')
Now, when I click on a column to sort the records is the 'Product3' row
located as first row in the Grid but not selected (highlighted) anymore.
The position of the selected (highlighted)-row doesn't change and is still
located on the 3rd row, thus showing a dfifferent product. I don't want

Hi All,
I wanna to change the specific cell background color or text color in
DataGridView according to diff cell content
(say, if "APPLE" then the cell have red in color, if "ORANGE" then the cell
have blue in color...etc,
and the DataGridView control is binding to BackEnd SQL Server Database)
So, what should I handle this case with DataGridView control in VB.NET 2005
?

I'm baffled. I have a column in a SQL Server Express database called
"Longitude," which is a float. When I view the table in a DataGridView,
some of the numbers, which only have two decimal places in the database
show up with *15* decimal places and are ever so slightly off (in the
example in the subject line, by about 2E-15).
I'm not doing any operations on this column. It's just running a stored
procedure which performs a pretty basic...

..Rows.clear()
..rowcount = 0
and the rows in a datagridview still not cleared
I populated the Datagridview manually using Row.Add

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
