Hi
I'm using several DataTables in my program which are updated periodically.
At the same I have those tables bound to DataGrids in my GUI. So far I've
been doing all the processing in the same program and the speed of the
processing prevented any issues when it comes to updating the GUI elements
(as DataTables are changed this triggers updates in the DataGrids), but as
soon as I add cpu time intensive processing options (i.e. receiving...

I have a Windows Form Which Displays one record at a
time. The DataTable object which is bound to the Form
Controls only contains the record that is being
displayed. When I need to display a different record, any
changes in the current record are saved to an Access
Database, the DataTable's Row Collection is Cleared and
the New Record is read into the DataTable. (This is done
to ensure that when the User goes to view a record, they
get...

Is there a cure for the problems using databinding with a DateTimePicker?
I find that a) sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't, and b) it fails
silently causing all databinding on the DataSet to fail with a error message.
Help!

1. No Columns collection.
2. No ability to easily synchronize the underlying DataTable of a DataGrid
when a row is deleted in the Grid. Once you sort (via the column headers)
all bets are off as to whether the current row index of the data grid can be
used directly as the Rows index of the DataTable. This is documented in the
DataGrid Overview.
3. No way to access the default grid table style to make minor changes to
just one column...

I'm getting really strange behaviour where the data source RowState is not being updated to modified in some circumstances.
I place my controls on a form, bind them through a BindingSource control to a DataSet. If I don't do anything to the DataSet other than load data normally through TableAdapters everything works fine.
If I load a table(static data for ComboBox) in the DataSet manually; the DataSet now says it has changes. I call...

Hello,
I'm using typed dataset for databinding to windows controls and I'm having
some problems.
I'm trying to move all business logic to datatable column_changing events
and the problem that I'm having is when I change some other column, control
value doesn't update immediately until I call endcurrentedit on
bindingmanager which doesnt happen until user click update button.

Hello,
I have a problem with re-loading datasets.
As a simple example, if I have an SQL table of addresses
comprising active and inactive addresss, I wish to load either
sub-set by clicking on a checkBox. The data is Bound to various
controls
on a Windows Form.
This works fine, I can load either set of data into the same

I ask, because I have a textbox bound to a bindingsource, which is
bound to a datatable(row)
The datatable is typed, and hence exports a Property called Column1
I added another property to the datatable by editing the partial
class, and Called it ColumnX - it simply returns "Hello World" all the
time
Then I tried to bind my textbox to it, editing the binding for .Text
from xyzBindingSource - Column1

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...
