Take a look at Telerik´s controls, i use them at work, and i am VERY
happy about them.
They make doing ajax very very easy, http://www.telerik.com/

Sorry my suggestion was not free as you wanted. But trust me it is worth
every penny (think it is 100$ including the winforms controls)

How about Ajax Data Controls? http://dotnetslackers.com/projects/AjaxDataControls/
They are free and I think they provide all the functionality you require.

It looks really nice ;) [tip: to run the sample you have to connect to
northwind database]
But Pager offers only numbers of pagers, go to next/previous/first/last page
("<<12345678>>" )
What about changing the number of rows on page (drop down list) ? or go to X
page ? I couldn't find ant atribute to run something like that, am I wrong ?

I'm using the GridView control and have the Mode of the Pager set to
"NumericFirstLast". However, when there are several pages to display,
the pager shows only page numbers--and no First/Last buttons. First of
all, is this a bug or am I doing something stupid? Secondly, can I
override the page numbers using my own template?
I'm using the latest Visual Studio 2005
Thanks.

Environment: VS2005, ASP.Net 2.0, SQLServer 2000, VB.Net, IIS6
I use a GridView Control which is based on a SQLDataSource. The datasource
is based on a Select statement and is filtered by the FilterExpression. The
GridView also has a pager element (below, displaying first, previous, next,
last icons), paging is enabled, page contains 10 rows.
The user now skips some pages by clicking a view times on the next icon.
Now he changes the...

I am attempting to better automate a Pager Template within a GridView. I am
succesfully skinning a Drop Down List withing my control (the DDL is added
to my control). I correctly populate the item list that corresponds with the
number of pages, but I am unable to wire up the Selected Index Changed
event. Auto PostBack is set to true and the page is posting back when the
DDL is selected / chaged, but the event is never being called.

The PagerSettings.Visible property is not being handled properly by the
GridView control.
The value assigned to this property is not applied until after a postback.
Simplest test :
.aspx containing a single gridview - enable paging and give enough data
to page.
add checkbox with auto postback enable
add button with auto postback enable
in the GridView1_PreRender method add the following :
GridView1.HeaderRow.Enabled =

I am overriding the InitializePager method on a grid view and displaying a
customized pager. Is there any way to insure that the method is always
called even if the number of rows is less than the page size? One of the
functions that I am adding is the ability to change the page size but once
the user shows "all" rows, there is no way to get back to the pager and thus
reduce the page size.
Thanks,

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
