Creating IDataReader from DLinq query

RDLDesigner report designer requires IDataReader for data access.

To use it with Linq, I need to convert Linq projection to IDataReader.

var db = new NorthwindContex t();
var q = from c in db.Customers
select new { c.ContactName, c.City };

IDataReader dr = QueryDataReader ( db, q );

How to implement QueryDataReader ?
Linq query is actually wrapper to ADO .NET DataReader so this may be
possible.

Hi Have a question about DLinq. The example code floating around looks like this: Northwind db = new Northwind(@"C:\...\northwnd.mdf"); var custs = from c in db.Customers where c.City == "London" select c; How does this work. Will it retreive all the rows from the Customer table

I have the following queries/Observations about DLINQ. 1. I could not find any direct way of handling many to many relations. Suppose if User and Role are related by a join table UserRole then I should be able to have a collection of Roles in User and vice versa. Which i think is not possible in DLINQ. (Please correct me if I am wrong) 2. State management is handle outside entities. In scenareos where a client grabs a entity from a...

Show up and talk to members of the DLinq team. What's DLinq, you ask? Well, to understand that you'll need to know what LINQ is - you can start with the blurb below, read more about it here: http://msdn.microsoft.com/data/linq/, and install the latest CTP: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=1e902c21-340c-4d13-9f04-70eb5e3dceea&displaylang=en It's very cool stuff. Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
