LR20r3 Error

I have a .NET 3.5 C# Windows Application that operates correctly in Windows
XP SP3 and Windows Server 2003.

When I attempt to launch it in Vista Ultimate SP1 it fails ...

Event Type - CLR20r3
Signature 08 - System.NullRefe rence.Exception

It is apparently failing on ...

InitializeCompo nent();
Any help in finding this "feature" would be greatly appreciated.

Fixed.

The problem was initialization. In Vista ...

private void frmMain_Resize( object sender, EventArgs e )
private void frmMain_SizeCha nged(object sender, EventArgs e )
private void frmMain_Locatio nChanged(object sender, EventArgs e )

.... were all being raised before initialization was complete. The solution
was to add a switch to each that ignores the condition during
initialization.

The problem here was that it only failed in Vista and there was insufficient
information to zero in on the problem. The only solution I could see was to
invest the 4.5 hours to install VisualStudio 2008 on the my test Vista
machine so I could compile and debug it there.
