The following code is stripped down to keep it simple. What I want is a
double click call back on a table. The table will contain all kinds of text
and graphics. I want double click rather than click to distinguish this call
back from clicking on a link within the text.
This works:
<div onClick="alert('Clicked')" >
<table>

I've a requirement for a treeview control to display a master-detail view.
So instead of the old the old 'ActiveX + 1,000 lines of code' method
that I've used in the past. I decided to try a different approach.
This is a very simple idea so I'd be surprised if it hasn't been done
before - but I couldn't find anything in google, so here it is if anyone is
interested.
The idea is to use a union query, where the first part of the union...

Hello,
I would like some advice on how to disable the behavior of treeviews to
expand and collapse when double clicked upon, but still allow the user to use
the plus and minus on each node.
Thanks in advance!

Dear all,
is it possible to implement a tree node so that double click on the tree
node does some operation and double click on "+" of this tree node only
expands tree without doing this operation. Unfortunately I only know
GetNodeAT(x,y), which don't differentiate "+" from the node.
Thanks in advance for your help.

Good morning.
I have recently begun a project using PyGTK, and part of my planned
interface has a gtk.TreeView showing a portion of the filesystem. Now,
rather than load the entire FS structure into the tree right from the
beginning, I made a lazy tree by adding blank children to rows
representing directories, and connected a call to fill in the data when
a row with blank children was expanded.
Now, this works all fine and well, in...

Hi All,
I have a form that displays hierarchical categories in a treeview. Ok so
far so good. What I was to do is have users be able to select a node in the
treeview as part of filling out the form. I only want to allow single
selection, so using checkboxes is out of the question. It works as is, but
it makes the form very cumbersome if every time that a user selects a node,
the whole page has to reload. Is there a way to have a node...

Hi everybody,
I have an application that works for IE. I used treeview.htc to create
a tree view. And I want my client side code to work with linux based
operating systems. So the code should work on firefox or other gecko
browsers. Sample code for IE is like the following:
<HTML XMLNS:mytree >
<HEAD><?IMPORT NAMESPACE="mytree" IMPLEMENTATION="./treeview.htc"/>
<TITLE>Something</TITLE>
</HEAD>

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

The next Access Europe User Group meeting will be on Wednesday 1 May 2024 starting at 18:00 UK time (6PM UTC+1) and finishing by 19:30 (7.30PM).
In this session, we are pleased to welcome a new presenter, Adolph Dupré who will be discussing some powerful techniques for using class modules.
He will explain when you may want to use classes instead of User Defined Types (UDT). For example, to manage the data in unbound forms.
Adolph will...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
