I'm using Python to parse a bunch of s/w test files and make csv files for later report generation by MS ACCESS....(my boss
loves the quick turn-around compared to C). Each log file may contain one or more 'sessions', and each session may contain
one or more 'nodes'.
Each session in the log has an ASCII start and stop time, as does each node.
I have the basic parse part done for parameters, errors, etc., but noticed my routine for...

I am a relative newbie to MySQL. I had a Postfix+Courier+MySQL mail
server running for several months. It took me a week or so to get it up
and running in September. Now, I did a clean upgrade to Mandrake 9.2
and am reinstalling everything. This thing is kicking my ass and I
can't seem to get past it. I could really use some help if anybody has any.
Just for reference, this was my primary source for information on
installation and...

Hello,
I am trying to execute an application on a remote system. After checking
several of the website I was managed to write a C# application do the same.
But I am not able to track the Exit Code of the application. The return
value only tells me if the application started successfully.
Is their a way to capture the final exit code of the application that is
started remotely?

I am almost afraid to ask this question but under Windows Vista can an
ASP.NET application launch an interactive UI based process using
Process.Start(..)?
I see various posts that recomment the ASPNET account be granted
"interactive logon" rights. and allowing IIS Admin service to
interact with the desktop. However under Vista services CANNOT
interact with desktop, period (and there is no IIS Admin Service
anyway). There is no ASPNET...

I am having a curious problem with Vista working on a Lenovo thinkpad.
To test and demonstrate this problem, I have a PHP script that does not terminate. It enters an infinite loop where it repeatedly prints out a line of data, flushes output buffers (with appropriate PHP functions), then sleeps for a number of seconds.
In other words, this represents a constant input stream to the browser which is requesting the script as a page.
On my...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
