I've seen several posts from people who have seen this flashing in
TreeView's when resizing a form. I've noticed it in my app, but only in the
child windows. For example, my main form has a splitter with a TreeView and
I do not get the flickering with it.
I created a new Form based Windows app. Added a TreeView (dock left), then
a splitter and a property grid on the right (dock fill). For this test, I
added a panel and button at the...

First of all, I am using the .NET 2.0 framework with Visual Studio
2005.
I have two forms. One is a form with a TreeView control on it (used as
a menu - kindof a favorites list) and the other is a form with a
WebBrowser control on it.
The TreeView_Click event fires up the other form with the link passed
to it via the Node. If the user clicks the TreeView and the form is
already open with that link in it, it is supposed to set focus to...

I have a tree view on a form and I need to pass that treeview to
another form keeping the state of the treeview (expanded nodes, etc).
After the treeview has been manipulated (added nodes, deleted nodes,
etc) I need to pass the treeview BACK to the original form.
Is there an easy way to do this?
Thanks,
DC

I do not know if there is a treeView control for web form in .NET 1.1.
I know there is IE Webcontrol package which has the treeview control for
..net 1.0. I have tested it in .net 1.1 before. It did not work. About the
status of it now? Is there any alternative for TreeView control for web form
in .net 1.1 and Visual Studio 2003? How about .net 2.0 and Visual Studio 2005?
Thank tou

Hello,
In a MDI application, I want a child form which contains a treeview with a
associated form for each node.
If I create a child form, I only can put controls. So I can puta Treeview
control and a user control which represents the form for one node. So I have
the same count of user control than the count of nodes in the treeview.
But I will prefer to have forms, and not user control which play the role of

I have a form that has a left and right panel. In the left panel is a
treeview. The right panel I want to change dynamically based on the
type of node selected. What I'm doing is loading the treeview nodes
through an XML file. As part of each node in the XML, I'm using an
attribute that indicates the name of a sub form to load. As part of
all these little child forms, the main control is a panel, which I
then assign its parent to the...

Hi all - I'm kind of a newbie. I've been researching this problem for a couple of days now and my searches haven't really come up with any solutions - hopefully I'm just doing something silly and someone will be able to point it out to me!
I'm working with a dataset - which is separated from the rest of the program by a datamanager class I made.
My form calls the datamanager class function that will call the function in the dataset to...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
