Hai all
I am creating an VB.NET application which has some reporting involved. i use Crystal report for VS.NET to create the report
I have designed the report(rpt file) by making a connection to the server and database using Add/Remove Database option
Then i created a form (frmRpt), which contains a crystal report viewer control only. I have used the

they use the Root Namespace (VB) from the project. How can I extend the

When i right click on the .rpt file in the VS 2003, i see a property
printer setting.
It says "No printer" on the top and there is option to select printer
and paper settings etc..
I want to know how will this affect a report rendered by a crystal
viewer.
I have a web page with a crystal viewer rendering the report on the
page.
I build my application in one of my development machines and deploy it

I developed One Windows application with some crystal
Report
I used my predefined crystal reports files for my application.
I just take one crystal report viewer on form and set report source =
location of my crystal report file.
The version of crystal report software is 8.0
When I execute my application and open report from it is getting open

I created this test project and published it. I then tried installing
it on another machine and it installs fine. but when I go to open the
crystalreportviewer to show my created report I get an error saying it
cant and load the file. when I run it on my machine it works fine, its
like when I build the project the crystal report is not getting

Hi,
Usually in Visual studio 2003 when we include a crystal report it creates
a class file for that report. And we will use that class to dynamically load
the data. But I am not able to find that class in Visual studio 2005. If the
project type is web application project I am able to look at the class file
But if the project type is web site project I couldn't find that class.
Because of that I am not able to load crystal reports data...

Hello,
In my system the crystal report working till yesterday as well, but
from today whenever I tried to open crystal report its asking me to
log on to crystal management server, which never appears previously. I
can't remember any changes I made or not to the setting, So when I am
calling from c# code its saying that crystal report client is not able
to open the crystal report file and its throws an exception.

On reflection, you could possibly make the app a self extracting zip file
which extracts the EXE and a settings file and then starts the app, then when
you app closes, it can repack the settings file and itself into the exe. You
would probably want a tool for this bit which could be in the zip too.
So the app isnt single exe when running but when not running, it is.
Just an idea for you to think about.

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
