Returning multiple values

If I have the following code, what do I have to change to
make it return more than one value?

public string Records
{
get { return textBoxName.Tex t; }
//return textBoxAddress. Text;
//return textBoxNotes.Te xt;
}

I can only return one value from my dialog box, but I would like
to return a few more values.
Thanks
Steve

public List<stringMult ipleValues
{
get {

List<stringvalu es = new List<string>();
values.Add ( textBox1Name.Te xt );
values.Add ( textBox2Name.Te xt );
return values;
}
}
You might want to explain what you're trying to do. That looks like its
heading down a hacky path.
(Maybe I'm wrong..but it be good to ask either way).

Trying to return a Recordset to an ASP and the Recordset is empty. The StorredProc works in the query analyzer and it even works from a quick VB app that I wrote to test it. The storedproc that I am using is fairly complex (creates some temporary tables and populates them with 'Insert Into Select ...', but the during testing the only Select statements that return visible rows is the final one that returns the finished table with an...

Hi I'm not sure what the best approach for this is: I have a stored procedure which I would like to use to return several output values instead of returning a recordset. What are the best ways of returning multiple results from a subroutine ? I've been using ... return } which is inelegant. I'm used to Pascal's procedure X(const A, B : integer; var C, D : byte) ; where A, B are inputs only, and C, D are in/out.

I want to return multiple values, but not a set, only a single row, from a plpgsql function and I can't seem to get it to work. (I suppose I'd be happy to return a set, but I can't seem to make that work either. Anyway, what's wrong with this?) Version is: $ rpm -q postgresql

Hrm.. last posting was mangled. Let's try again, with more detail... I'm just starting to try out "Ajax" web programming and I've got a question. AJAX is fairly straightforward. Javascript creates an XMLHttp object and then uses that to generate a hidden webpage with your results. What I'd like to know is, how can I retrieve multiple values from an XMLHttp request?For example, if my request generated an SQL query that returned a...

Hello! I have got a Python "Device" Object which has got a attribute (list) called children which my contain several other "Device" objects. I implemented it this way in order to achieve a kind of parent/child relationship. Now I would like to get all children of a given "Device" object and thought that it would be the best way to use recursive function.

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
