Hi Guys,
I have a form field of type datepicker. I want to include it in my get
string. like this:
Response.Redirect("writetodb.asp?Name=" + Textbox1.Text + "&Telephone=" +
TextBox2.Text + "&DateFrom=" + DatePickVar.Text)
I keep getting a error when I build stating: Name 'DatePickVar' is not
declared. But I have set the id in properties to DatePickVar.
The Textbox1 & Textbox2 when passed all works ok. I think it has something

I use the Microsoft Access Calendar (ActiveX) to pass dates into queries
and reports.
I have recently come across the Microsoft Access DatePicker developed by
Brendan Kidwell and I now use this to input dates into various text boxxes
on my forms. One form has the capacity for over 20 different dates and
using the DatePicker is far easier than typing in individual dates as I
used to.
Does anyone else use Brendan Kidwell's DatePicker,...

Hello:
I'm using the validating event on a text boxes to test for valid
dates, doubles, etc. The problem is that if the field is not required
and a blank value is OK and the user deletes a previous non-blank
value, the validaing event keeps putting the non-blank value back in
the text box and doesn't allow the blank value. Is this unavoidable
in the built-in validating event and do I need just to write my own
validation event?

Hi there
I’m simply trying to check for a blank or empty value in a textbox on my
webform. In this instance I do not want to use a requiredfieldvalidator,
I want to use a customvalidator (as I have other code within the
customvalidator which works).
This won’t work (within servervalidate):
If txtBox.Text.ToString = "" Then raise exception…..

Hello,
I am using this validator on a textbox, and have discovered that if I
set the InitialValue property, then the validator correctly fires if the
user does not change the initial value of the textbox, but does NOT fire
if the textbox is empty!!
I thought the whole point of this validator was to ensure the control
being validated had some text. Am I doing something stupid? It looks
like I am going to need *two* validators for this,...

Hi,
I need to build an editable Datagrid with add & delete buttons on each
row using javascript.
DataGrid need not be pre-populated with values.
To make the thing complicated, one of the column need to be a date
picker field.
I know things will be easier with ASPX datagrid.

Hi everyone,
I don't have a lot of experience with ASP and I was hoping someone could help me. I want to use our ASP form along with some javascript code to create a form where our patrons can select which department they will send the form to (we are trying to consolidate forms). This is what I have so far, but when I test the form, I keep getting this error message:
Mailing Failed... Error is:
FromAddress Property cannot be blank.

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
