Hi all, I have the following issue: I have a .net assembly that I need registered in the GAC as well as registered for COM interop (using gacutil). When I deploy it to clients I register it with regasm. However when updating this component I cannot seem to unregister the old one (regasm /unregister). No errors, but it does not unregister the app. I end up having to hunt down the reg entries and blow them away. So my question is....

Hello,
I have managed dll which I want to register as LocalServer, I am under the
impression that using regasm is registering the COM component in InProc. Is
there a way to register the COM components as LocalServer instead of InProc?

Hello,
I am developing a module using C# which serves as a plugin with a COM
interface for a couple of weeks now.
Everything works fine until this morning: without knowing what I changed
(except some source codes about the user interface), the compiler now
complains that it cannot register the interop assembly because it was
generated from a type library. It refers to a strange file name which
looks like a randomly generated one.

I have a DLL (nahd.dll) that has been supplied to me will a PBX phone

My ASP.NET application uses the MSOWCF.dll COM component (ms office
functions) and it works fine on my computer with MS Office installed. But I
am trying to upload the application to my web server which does not have MS
office installed. When I execute the application on the server I get an

Hi Guys,
Ive hit a problem that I just can't find a solution to... Ive created an
application that downloads images from a digital camera. The application is
written in C# and uses the WIA library to handle the image transfer.
Im creating an MSI file using visual studio and including the wiaaut.dll and
interop.WIA.dll files in the install package. Ive marked both to be
registered in their properties (as csdrfCOM and vsdraCOM).

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
