Can someone please point me in the right direction as to how to play
system sounds and/or WAV files from a VS.Net 2003 application.
I can find plenty of info about how easy it is with VS2005, but from
VS.Net 2003 I can only find the Windows Multimedia article about the
Statement: PlaySound("MouseClick", NULL, SND_SYNC). But how do I use
this statement?

Hi again,
I have run into a problem with the System.Media.Soundplayer class,
notably the Play method. The sound that plays gets garbled about 50% of
the time, usually at the end, when it finishes with white noise or a
high pitch noise. If I use PlaySync it plays it fine.
I COULD create a thread and execute the Play method via the thread, but
that leaves me with the problem of stopping the sound. Terminating the
thread doesn't kill the...

I am playing a .wav file in my application i.e running successfully on
Windows 2000 Prof n Windows 2000 Serv. with Framework 2.0
Now I have installed Framework 2.0 on Win 98 and when I try to run the
application its running fine but the .wav file is not running i.e I
cannot hear the sound.
Can any one help to sort out this problem.
