Hello,
If I want to update data displayed in a datagrideview/datagridview cell, how
can I determine what cell I am updating? I am looking at the click event
below, for example. Can I get information from the sender object or the
EventArgs? How?

In a datagridview, the first column header cell is columnHeader(0), which is
immediately to the right of the Top Left Corner Select All cell. And the
first RowHeader cell is RowHeaderCell(0) which is immediately below the Top
Left Corner Select All cell.
When clicking on the Top Left Corner SelectAll cell, which selects all the

Hi All,
I'm relatively new to vb .net and am probably making a simple mistake and would appreciate any help.
I have a tab control with 4 tabs. Each tab has a DataGridView and I'm populating all 4 of them from a SQL Server db via code. The data comes from multiple tables via a UNION.
The leftmost column in each DataGridView should be a checkbox which I'm creating like this:

When viewing a datatable in a datagridview one of the columns in it is a
"note" field which can be quite long. I would like to have the note
field of the currently selected row of the datagrid display in a textbox
below the datgridview. I currently have it fixed so if you click on a
row the note field from that row is put in the textbox. I'd like this
to be automatic as they move through rows.

I have a log viewer. I sort the DataGridView by the Time Column and
then run a function to set all cell backcolors depending if the cell
above is different.
This works correctly, however, when I resort a column (by clicking any
of the column headers) then all the colors revert back to the
origional white background.
Is there a way to have the DefaultCellStyle for each cell follow the
value/cell on sort?

Hi!
I have an application in which I have some checkboxes and depending
which ones are checked those columns will show in the datagridview
from sql server or no.
After that I have 2 buttons:
1) export to excel button exports the visible columns from the
datagridview to excel (this works fine)

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
