Problem with "AutoEllips is" property

I have set "AutoEllips is" property on for my checkbox(winfor m). My
application is working with multiple languages. Particular with
Chinese language, I have some issues. Here are some observation on XP
32bit :

1) AutoEllipsis property set + Chinese Language Pack installed & Set
= working well ( it displays, text of checkbox)

2) AutoEllipsis property not set + Chinese Language Pack installed &
Set = working well ( it displays, text of checkbox)

3) AutoEllipsis property not set + Chinese OS installed = working
well ( it displays, text of checkbox)

4) AutoEllipsis property set + Chinese OS installed = Not working
well ( it display no text for checkbox, text is invisible)

Does it makes differance, if I install localized version of Operating
System OR set language/culture using Language pack. Is this bug with
VS.Net OR something wrong at my end?

Thanks in advance!!

I'm having some trouble getting something to work. I'm not even sure whether or not this is possible, but it *seems* like it should be. I've done a fair amount of experimenting and googling...but maybe I'm still missing something obvious... I'm trying to have a <div> appear and disappear based on what a switchbox is set to. Having <div style="display: none;"> and then setting the display property to inline onChange works fine, but I...

I've observed something strange about property docstrings and I'm wondering if anyone here can clarify what's going on: if I create a class derived from property, the docstrings of the instances end up being that of the derived class, not the docstring passed into the property constructor. Example: class MyProp(property): "MyProp docstring" class Foo: p = MyProp(None, None, None, "property p docstring")

I have a series of simple controls that I created to make some aspects of Tablet PC programming a little easier. The "Tablet PC" aspects of the controls are irrelevant to the problem I'm having, but I feel compelled to mention it because it can be hard for someone to imagine my challenge when I talk in hypotheticals. Anyway, these controls each have an Ink property. For non-Tablet developers, Ink is a class defined in the Tablet PC...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
