Unable to search files from IDE

I'm using Visual C# 2005 version 2.0.50727. When I use the "Find In
Files" command to search for text in my "Entire Solution", nothing
appears in the Find Results window. This was working until today. I am
searching for text that I know appears in the files, I am NOT using
case sensitive, whole words, or regular expressions. I have tried
using *.cs as well as *.*.

I saw a KB article that mentioned problems searching for text and
indexing, but searching from the Windows Explorer works fine, just not
the C# IDE.

Ideas?

Thanks!

Steve

Any ideas as to what might me wrong? This is the traceback from IDLE: C:\Python20\Tools\idle>..\..\python.exe idle.py Traceback (most recent call...

The problem started when the Working Folder for a project was somehow set to the folder of another project. I set the correct working folder in VSS and deleted the .vbproj files that had been created in the wrong folder on the hard drive. Before I discovered these files, .NET kept trying to create a new project with _1 following the project name. Deleting those files corrected that problem. I deleted the Virtual Directory, rebooted, and...

Hi, I try to use ASP.Net 2.0 FileUpload control to upload files. The page is working fine when I upload files and save them into my local computer, but fails when the files are to be saved to a network drive. I believe this is permission issue, the account on my local computer does not have permissions to write to network drive. Can someone tell me how resolve this problem? I already went to IIS and impersonate anonymous access...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
