Can somebody show me how to restore the account step by step using windows
XP (I get easily frustrated with XP)? I know it is an account named
"aspnet_wp account", but recreating with the same name does not do the
trick. I suspect there's more to do with IIS, etc.
When I attempt to open an aspnet application, I get a big fat error message
that looks like this.

Server Application Unavailable

I think we have a corrupt IIS metabase on our web cluster. The controller
is replicating the problem to the members.
What steps can we take to confirm our IIS metabase is intact? I would
prefer not to do ADSI calls. Isn't there a command to interate thru the
metabase?
Many thanks,
Keith

Hi,
I need to programmaticaly create and configure a new virtual directory on
IIS6.0. The virtual directory path is a network share. Therefore, I need to
set up this network's Security Credentials (User name and Password).
Which metabase properties correspond to these parameters?
Thanks,

I need to edit the IIS 6.0 config file (metabase.xml) and had a go with this
code, trying to get a list of all defined websites, and write their name to
console, but it does not seem to work, would appreciate any pointers:
-----------
Try
Dim doc As New XmlDocument
Dim nodelist As XmlNodeList
Dim node As XmlNode

I've done all of the Method 1, but the files have not been re-created, and I

I have a problem with cache headers which I cannot track down. We are running
IIS6 on Windows Server 2003 and ASP.NET 2.0.
Our application has an installer which sets up our caching options in the
metabase - specifically it sets HttpExpires="D, 0" and
CacheControlCustom="no-cache" on the directory containing our web forms. In
IIS manager this shows up correctly (saying expires immediately).
For some specific web forms (aspx) within...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...
