Hi!
I have this scenario: I have a windows form. I have a DataGridView Control
which is bound to a DataSource. Under the DataGridView I have texboxes which
represent each one of the columns in the Datasource (also shown in the
datagridview)
As I move from row to row, the values of the textboxes (which are also bound
to the datasource) change according to the value of each column of such row.
That is perfectly normal.

VS2005 and I have a DataTable displayed in a DataGridView that needs custom
sorting, with the DataSource of the grid set to the DataTable and the
SortCompare event just won't fire.
Then I found this in the docs "This event occurs only when the DataSource
property is not set and the VirtualMode property value is false"
This seems really odd but may be true. I can't see what the purpose of this

Hi
I am having issues with a combobox column in a datagridview with virtual
mode enabled. I am binding data to both the datagrid and combobox from
an sql database. Everything works fine however when I select an item in
the combobox and move onto the next row, the item dissapears from the
combobox and it moves back to a blank state. I have put a break point
at: (and it fires off when I click the drop down on the combobox). Can

Why is it, that in my DataGridView all columns which are not bound to
a "DataProperty" loos thier content in a couple of occasions?
This happens if:
- Underlaying DataSet.AcceptChanges()
- DataGridView bound columns -Click on header for sorting

This is on .Net 2.0 in a WinForms application.
I have a DataGridView that is bound to a BindingSource. The
DataGridView has 3 columns. The first two are "normal" text columns and
the last is a combo box column.
Data binding is working fine for the first two columns. I am able to
edit values and persist them back to the bound object and ultimately
back to the database.

When viewing a datatable in a datagridview one of the columns in it is a
"note" field which can be quite long. I would like to have the note
field of the currently selected row of the datagrid display in a textbox
below the datgridview. I currently have it fixed so if you click on a
