Hi All,
As I recall from Java Swing, I could assign the widths of columns to
something like a list control proportionally rather than absolutely. That
is, essentially I could assign "weights" x, y and z to the columns
respectively of a three-column list control; at run time, the system would
calculate the available space for the control and, given that w was
determined to be the absolute width of the control, would assign w*x /...

This is something I had never seen before.
On an aspx page, upon pressing a link button for which I have an event
handler in the code behind, the screen shows nothing but a line that says
"true" up in the right upper corner of the browser.
I have an XP and had just installed XP Service Pack II...against my better
judgment. Please help. Thanks.

Hi,
I've a tabcontrol that contains many similar tabpages (exactly the same
structure with different information), the tabpages number isn't known in
the design time it depends of the data.
Is there a way to clone ( copy the structure) a tabpage to create anew one
by code?
thanks.

Hi folks,
Consider a text containing 200 characters (more or less) including
and/or excluding the CR/LF within. I would like to compute the height
of this text whenever it's width is limited by X pixels! i.e., what's
the height of the mentioned text when it's being automatically word
wrapped within a rectangle of WIDTH pixels? How am I supposed to
calculate the height required to show the message?
TIA,
Mehdi

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
