Calling DTS package using C#

Hi,

I am calling DTS package using C# in my current application on dev server.
The DTS package tranfers file from Excel to SQL Server table.

When i migrated the package from dev server to production server, i had
forgotten to change the server name in DTS package.

Is there any way i can pass the connection string to DTS package through C#
code, which will prevent rechecking the server name, when migrated from dev
to production server in future.

Hi all, I have a C# user control (a little app I made to display video). In this code I am using a third party .dll, which is written in C++ (un-managed). I am tring to put this control on a web page and somehow the managed code is working OK but when it arrives the part of the code where it is calling the un-managed .dll it gets an exception (it can't find the dll). Is it a security problem? if it is what do I do to solve it? Is it a...

My problem: I need to call (from C code) an arbitrary C library function, but I don't know until runtime what the function name is, how many parameters are required, and what the parameters are. I can use dlopen/whatever to convert the function name into a pointer to that function, but actually calling it, with the right number of parameters, isn't easy. As far as I can see, there are only two solutions: 1) This one is portable. If...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
