control dynamically from memory as opposed to requiring a url to the actual
image on the filesystem.

Hello, On an Access 2000 form under Windows 2000 I would like to use a Kodak Image Edit Control to display the contents of a TIFF image file. According to the very limited documentation that I have been able to locate so far, all I should need to do is to drop the Image Edit Control onto the form in design mode, set the control's Image property to the location of my TIFF file, and then possibly add the following lines to the Current...

I can seem to get the dimensions of a frame in a multiframe tiff. After selecting activeframe, the Width/Height is still really much larger than the page's actual dimensions. When I split a TIFF to several PNG files this causes a problem, becuase the resulting image is (the page to the far left and a lot of black space surrounding it and a filesize that is larger than needed. Any ideas?

In my app, I need to open up a multipage tiff file, and also display it's thumbnail images IN HIGH QUALITY. (High Quality meaning anti-aliased, and looking good; not rough and pixely) The thumbnail images are displayed in a ListView control. (I go through each page of the file, create a thumbnail of it, and put it into an ImageList. Then i hook that imagelist up to the ListView.) It works fine, but it is VERY slow. Creating and...

Hello, we have an app that scans documents into TIFF format and we need to transfer them over the internet. If anyone knows of a SDK we can use that can compress TIFFs on the fly or even if it can compress them so they take up less space on the server, would be appreciated. Actually any info on handling tiff files programatically would be appreciated as I know very little about tiffs. TIA

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
