Webex like sharing button

I need to hover/attach a button to an existing application window in
much the same way that you see when Webex is sharing the desktop
(there is a little green sharing control added to each application
window).

I only need to add a control like that to one specific window.

The control will essentially launch a second application.
Thanks in advance.

Hi I've installed win2k3 sp1 on a machine where an openRead on any given file was previously working. After installation, I get a webException as follows... ..message "An exception occurred during a webclient request" .._Hresult = "-2146233079" .._COMPlusExceptionCode ="-532459699" Sorry I don't have the whole error, but this seems to be the only pertinent

I have setup Visual Studio to work with a VSS-Server. (Source Off Site) I dont see a way to share and later branch my project. File -> Source Control -> Share is grayed out. What is the best way then to share/branch? SOS-Client is 3.5.3 / Server is 3.5.2 I had some bad experiences doing VSS-actions with a client different than VS.NET for VS .NET projects. So i realy would like to use VS .NET

Hello, Please pardon my ignorance as this is something I should know, but I'm a little unclear. I have an MDI based app. It is setup so the user opens a file and the main child form is created. Once that is opened one (or more) properties forms can be opened. What is the best method for sharing data between the properties forms and the main child form? I need to alert the main child form when a value is modified in a properties form so I...

I have a VB.NET class library project and two other VB.NET projects that depend on that class library, ie: Class library --Project 1 --Project 2 Currently, as you'd expect, when I compile this, each of Project 1 and 2 end up with an exe and a dll. However, I don't want the project to be distributed with a dll, so is it possible to add the files to each of the Projects

As mentioned earlier I've been away from coding for about 5 years. Know I know why :( I've been trying to work out a critical detail, hard to do on Thanksgiving ;) Push a button on form1, form2 appears, I enter some text push a button and get the data back to form1. In the "old days" we had globals to pass stuff like this through. (as a C programmer by background I always found that pretty poor). But now I can't find a mechanism to do...

I would like to be able to send from an ASP.NET page an email which when recieved takes the form of a "Sharing Invitation for a RSS Feed" (http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/outlook/HA101595391033.aspx) I've found a MSDN article about it (http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb176432.aspx) but that example is presented as a vb(a) script from within outlook. Can this functionality be emulated from sending an email from C#? TIA

I have a form that contains a number of fields, all of which have validators. There are two submit buttons, one to update a record and one to add a record. Because the only difference in validation is to make sure someone is not using a username that is already in use, I would like to be able to use all the other validators for both the add and update buttons. However, because as far as I know a validator can only be in one...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
