Computer Expert Reviews

What does one do if he wants to purchase a computer and he doesn't
have the necessary informations in order to make a smart decision as
to which item is best for him? Definitely, reviews from the experts
are the best sources to obtain these details and are very helpful in
forming opinions on products we don't know nothing about. The good
thing about expert reviews is that it will inform us of the
capabilities and limitations on the product that is our prospect for
some time already.

What's the easiest way of learning python knowing perl? Is there somewhere a 'how-to' cookbook with parallel examples of frequent idioms in perl and python? And most important thing, how does Python deal with database connectivity? Is there a...

Can anyone recommend a good book for intermediate up to expert level? I'm an experienced C programmer and I learnt Python from the "Learning Python" O'Reilly book because it had good reviews. I was disappointed though. It was difficult to read because it was so verbose. It would sometimes take more than a page to explain something where all the information I needed could have been conveyed in one sentence. If anyone's seen Leendert...

So I rewrote the example in a way that I could better understand the concept, he was trying to convey to me. I ran my own example and it crashed and burn "what a surprise!" : (. I ran the authors example out of the book and quess what, it crashed also, : 0. I ran them both on my...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...
