Hello
I am using a TabControl wich includes a ListView on each TabPage. On the
click event I use the text on each tab to fill the ListView with data. When
the user click on a TabPage a use the Validating event to validate the data
in the ListView.
Now to the problem, it seems that after the Validating event, the TabPage:s
focus will change, the clicked TabPage will be active but the problem is that
the Click event will not be fired....

Can someone tell me why you cannot drag something onto a tabcontrol
with zero tabpages? I have a kind of 'docking' interface and relies
heavily on GDI+, a screenshot is available here:
http://netron.sourceforge.net/Biotron3Shot.jpg
You can move tab pages in the different panes, unless it's totally
empty (TabCount=0). Is there an alternative?
Thanks a lot,

Hi all,
I have a CheckedListBox on one pane of a TabControl on a form. I find that
whenever the user clicks a different tab then comes back, any checks that
were in the list have disappeared.
After a bit of experimenting I have discovered that the problem only occurs
when the CheckedListBox is using a dataset table as the source. If I
manually add items to it's collection using the properties window, it works
fine. If I bind it to a...

Hi, NumericUpDown control has a InterceptArrowKeys property, is there
such a thing for a TabControl? I want to prevent the TabPages from
switching to one another when the Left & Right arrow keys are pressed.
I have two forms, Form-A has KeyPreview = True and it is here where
the TabControl is placed, Form-A moves graphic objects at Form-B via
ArrowKeys.
Thanks,
Henry

I have a few hundred forms in my application. All are based on a custom base form class.
I decided that I wanted to globally change the look and feel of many of the controls in my application - including the tab control. I did this by writing a component that I attached to the form. The component has a "Start" function which takes the form as a paramater. This cycles through all the controls on the form, changes some of the properties...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
