Using 2 Mediaplayer COM objects with multiple audio cards.

Hi

I have 2 audio cards and want my first mediaplayer object to play through
soundcard 1 and the other object on card 2.

I can't find any properties to set, so i fear this will not be possible.

Any hints or workarounds ?

I had an idea for something that I can't find any evidence if it exists, or if it can be done. I assume it can be done. What I'd like to be able to do, is to allow people who come to my website, click a button on the page to begin submitting an audio stream to the server. Basically, once the "record" button was hit by the client, an audio stream would be generated by the client's microphone and would be sent over port 80 (just like...

I need to record raw 8-bit mono audio from a generic sound card on MS-Windows. I need to do something like this: sound_device = open audio device buffer = sound_device.read ('1 second, 8 bit, mono, 8 KHz') process buffer If possible I would also like to experiment with sampling the raw audio in my own loop. For example, something like this: open audio device while 1:

The A97 set of controls has one at the end entitled "More Controls". Clicking it produces a host of ActiveX and OCX controls that can be dropped onto a form just as easily as a textbox. One of them is the MediaPlayer.MediaPlayer.1 control. I am able to select the control and place it onto a form. But I don't know how to configure it for use on a form. I was wondering where I could go to read more about it on the web?

Hello- I have a form with the mediaplayer referenced to play mp3's and avi's and I believe that is what is causing the problem. I am not sure, but I am hoping. Anyway, I "published" the vb.net app and moved it to another computer and I get the following error msg when I load the form with the mediaplayer on it. I upgraded this project from a standard vb app to the .net version (vb express anyway) and that is when the problem arose. ...

Hi guys I''m a new C++ programmer and I am having a few problems with some structs that I have defined in my header file and want to use in my CPP file. The struct called "deck" is defined in a file called "Cards.h". In the corresponding CPP file called "Cards.cpp" when I try to use the struct "deck", I get a lot of errors from the compiler as displayed in my compiler errors below. I have tried all manner of things including defing variables...

This is a difficult question: I need to be able to input data via hand-scanner into a web page textbox, but it needs to be done more than once. The user will scan one card after another and in the end will get results from the database. I have everything figured out except how to enter the cards. I can do it for one card but when the page reloads I lose the object (StringBuilder) and it starts all over. I thought of writing to a text...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
