All,
I've been asked by my boss to put an Icon in WinXP's "My Computer" for
a utility we use around the shop. My tool of choice is of course
Python and therefore what I am using to attempt my given task. I have
no trouble putting Icons in the WinXP Toolbar using Python, but have
totally failed to get an Icon to appear in My Computer. Any Idea on
why and maybe how to get around this using Python?

Is there a way via C# to programmatically retrieve the full path name
to folders like "My Documents" ??
I'm seeing examples with the use of Shell32 stuff I believe,
SHGetSpecialFolderLocation
and I have no knowledge nor experience using such stuff. I've seen
some examples pertaining to these special folders but it's all Greek
to me and I'm sure somebody here could explain it 100 times quicker

Hi All,
Is it possible to set the InitialDirectory property of an
OpenFileDialog so it will open at the "My Computer" level? I want it
to open showing all the available drives. If so, what do I put in the
property? I've tried the obvious - "My Computer", but of course that
doesn't do it.

In VB.NET there is a keyword called "My" which has a lot of properties
collected at it.
Is there any equivalent to this "My" in C#?

I've tried following the simple instructions to be able to use MyServices
within C#...Add a project reference to Microsoft.VisualBasic.dll and add:
"using Microsoft.VisualBasic.MyServices;" to the code module. After that, I
expected to be able to use MyClock or MyComputerInfo, but none of the "My"
stuff appears in the intellisense. I've tried rebuilding (after adding the
reference and the using statement) and still no luck.

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
