Can I use python23_d and python23 to develop an extension for a
commercial application uses python22.dll? (Providing that I do not use
any new features found only in 2.3.)
I would bulld version 2.2 but I am having trouble doing this with
Visual Studio .NET Standard. (There is a well documented problem with
version 2.2 (involving largeint.h) and VS.NET but none of the
solutions that I found have worked.)
On the other hand, I have...

I have posted the question before but nobody have given me a solution. I
would like to rephrase my requirement and want to hear your advice.
We are developing application packages for logistics industry. The plan
is to develop two packages, one for daily operation in Client/Server
mode. The other is for reporting/enquiry in Browser/Server mode.
1. The server must be Unix
When I say 'server' means 1) database server; 2) if possible also...

Hi,
I have a, maybe strange looking, question:
Is there any way to obstruct developpers to Develop and or Deploy a newer
version of a VB.NET-application?
Things should happen like this:
- Developpers develop the application
- The application is tested, and audited for the final release
- The final release is isntalled at the clients
- After that: there can not be any other new version of the software

Hi,
We have a VB6 application that needs to use a new control written in
..NET v1.1 C#, imported as a COM control.
We have tried adding the C# control to the VB6 control both dynamically
(using Controls.Add) and using the VB6 designer. In both approaches
the behavior was identical: the control was functional and accessible,
but the application crashed on exit with the message <app name> "has
encountered a problem and needs to close. We...

Hello:
I am still using Python 2.4.3, I haven't upgraded yet.
However, I would like to know if my 2.4.3 programs will run
in 2.5 without modification.
Is there any way to test that my software is compatable
with 2.5 (or any other version), without actually installing
that version?:
I have been told that the .pyc are not compatable. Is it

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
