I've got a WebBrowser control (AxBrowse - VCMAXB.DLL) and I'm having a few
difficulties with it. Just looking for a few pointers, not whole solutions
here. I've tried looking at the MSDN help files with little success.
- When a new window is trying to pop up, how do I determine the target URL?
How can I get the page to open in the current browser control?
- When printing from the webbrowser control is there a way to ensure it
prints...

There are a few references on the net about how to restore a page's scroll
position over a postback. This is a simple one which works for me:
eg. http://www.devhood.com/messages/message_view-2.aspx?thread_id=104625
My question is : can the same thing be done to restore the scroll position
of a specific DIV within a page? I have a DIV section which scrolls
independently to the page :
<div style="vertical-align: top; height:200px;...

How would I implement the IDispatch interface to handle the following in
VB.Net
<BEGIN>
Controlling Download and Execution
The WebBrowser Control gives you control over what it downloads, displays,
and executes. To gain this control, you need to implement your host's
IDispatch so it handles DISPID_AMBIENT_DLCONTROL. When the WebBrowser
Control is instantiated, it will call your IDispatch::Invoke with this ID.
Set pvarResult to a...

Dear Santa,
While it's true that I haven't been perfect this year, it's definitely
an improvement over previous years. All cats still have their own fur, no
hidden cat fur in this year's Thanksgiving green bean casserole and not even
one kid in the neighborhood has lost a toe this year!
With these things in mind, I'd like to ask for knowledge this Christmas.
Specifically, for knowledge about extending the webbrowser control in VB.Net...

I am using a WebBrowser object in my .NET 2.0 application, but it is not
shown to the user. Every time a timer event triggers it to perform a
m_WebBrowser.Navigate() I get that classic IE 'click' and it steals the focus
from the user's current application.
How can I prevent the hidden WebBrowser from stealing focus? (And better
yet can I even suppress that click?_

Hello,
I am trying to incorporate the WebBrowser control in my application.
The WebBrowser will only display one page and that page contains
frames. However, it does not have a horizontal scroll bar on one of
the frame for some reason. The same page works fine on IE 6 and 7.

Hello people. I'm having a Winform app that contains a webbrowser control
that keeps navigating from one page to another permanentrly to make some
tests. The problem I'm having is that after a while, the application is
using more than 100 or 150 Mb in RAM, and if I let it continue, it can leave
the system without memory. I've been watching in some pages that other
people has the same problem with this control when keep navigating for a...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
