I have wrote a c# app and included the default app.ico file and then
compliled it.
When I create a shortcut to the application on the destop, I would like the
option of selecting from a choice of icons that are built into the file.
How do I include the icons in my application for this to work?

When you send an email programatically throgh Microsoft Outlook it goes into the
Outbox and stays there. I have an application that opens the email window and allows the
user to type a message and then hit the Send button. After that the window closes but
the message isn't sent like in Outlook Express it goes into the Outbox folder. Is there a
way to force Outlook to send the email in the Outbox folder?

Hi All,
I am trying to get a 24x24 "Windows XP" icon to display correctly on a
button in my toolbar. My icon has 8 layers (16x16, 16x16, 24x24, 24x24,
32x32, 32x32, 48x48, 48x48) with each size having a 256 and windows xp
colored image. When my application runs, the icon with 256 colors appears
rather than the xp icon. I have tried using a manifest as well as
Application.EnableVisualStyles. No luck.

Is their a way in a VB.Net application to set all sub form icons to the main
form ? or even set all icons to the Application icon, without having to
reference the icon as a filename ?

I'd like references on where to find some good (quality) icons to use for
form and application icons (for the EXE). Most of the free stuff isn't that
great looking and there isn't a good selection. A site offering previews of
icons or purchase of a single icon would be nice.

way so far i managed to do that is to embed native win32 resource file
with multiple icons. it works, but... when i create a native win32
resource file with the VS 2005 and put there my icons, VS always
converts some of the 32bit icons into 24bit - so i loose alpha blending

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
