Hi, I have a window based program. One of the form has several textboxes and
a datagrid. The textboxes are bind to the same dataset table as the datagrid
and the text changes to reflect different row selected in the datagrid.
I want to save the changes that user make in the textboxes when they select
a different row in the datagrid. I tried capturing the textbox.text at
datagrid's CurrentCellChanged event but by then the textbox.text...

Hi
I want to update data hold in several textbox controls on an asp.net form.
But it seems like it is the old textbox values that is "re-updates" through a
stored procedure who updates a SQL tabel. I know the SP works, because a
smalldatetime-field in the database is changed. I've tried to disable
viewstate on all textbox controls.
Any ideas to solve this problem.

This one has got me absolutely stumped.
At work I have created a simple web form that gets data from a sql backend
and puts this to a dataset.
I have an edit button that when clicked will set the relevant text
properties of several textboxes (to allow for edit)
....all simple so far.
I have a save button that when clicked will then perform the writing back of
the text in the textboxes.
The problem is (and having debugged I see this)...

Hi all,
I have something that has me stumped. I have a webform that has several
text boxes. Each of these boxes has the textchanged set so when the
user enters text and leaves the textbox, it runs through and updates
the table with the changed text....which is fine.
But, these users do enter a substantial amount of information in these
textboxes and at times get sidetracked. Sometimes, they come back later
to see the session expired...

I have a table with 1 row which is used to hold some application wide items
(one item per field, hence I only need 1 row).
I want to bind one of the fields to a textbox. After setting up the
oledbconnection and dataAdapter and filling the DataSet (ds) I tried this:
TextBox1.DataBindings.Add("text", ds.Tables.Item("MyFile"), "MyField")
I then put the following code in the SAVE button click event:

Using the MS Rich Textbox Control 6.0 in Access 2000, I need to concatenate
several RTB controls into a single RTF file. Sometimes two strings will be
side-by-side; other times they need to be separated by a hard return.
For example, say I have the following 4 RTB controls in my form:
RTB1 = "abcd"
RTB2 = "efgh"
RTB3 = "ijkl"
RTB4 = "mnop"

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...
