I have found that when I have a composite control that uses the
CreateChildControls method, on a regular page load, Page_Load executes before
CreateChildControls, but on a postback it is the reverse. This is causing
logic problems and it really bothers me that this sequence of events fires
inconsistently. Can anyone tell me why this happens and how we might get
around it?

Hey guys,
I am working on a web custom control that basically draws a table (ASP
Table) with a few child controls in the cells.
I have a command button inside one of these cells. The problem I am running
into is that I cannot get the click event of this object handled. I have
tried wiring the event with "AddHandler" among other things and that seems
not to work neither.

buttons) dynamically to a page with Controls.Add(myNewButtonControl).
Now that we gotten on the page we want to make them do something for a
living: how do we dynamically create events that the controls respond to?

Hi,
I have been having trouble rasing events in my custom (composite) server
controls.
To demonstate my problem I put a small control together with a single button
on it and included the code below.
Now what I want is when the button is clicked I wish to catch the event
(this is happening correctly) and then raise the event "MyCustomEvent".
"MyCustomEvent" is raise in the event "btn_Click" (at bottom of email)

I have a web page that dynamically loads user controls based on user
selection.
I store these in an an array.
One of the pages has a custom control on it.
It is a composite control.
I have a few buttons on the page and it seems their event handling code
is never called.
I tested this control on a page by itself and the events seem to work
properly.
