I have a realtime stock quote system developed where I am updating a typed
dataset with realtime quotes. I want my DataGridView control to show green
forecolor when a price moves up and red forecolor when a price moves down. I
am using the cellvaluechanged event of the DataGridView control and thought
it would be fired when the Dataset(the DataGridView's datasource) is updated.

Can anyone tell me the best way to update a dataset while it is being
edited/viewed in the DataGridView control? Is this something that
should be inserted into one of the grid's events? or should you update
after closing the grid/form, etc.?
Also, can you tell me the best book to buy that fully explains the
DataGridView control?

I have a DataGridView which displays numeric (Int32) data from an underlying
database. I want the numbers to be displayed in numeric format "#,###"
(with commas). I want to also limit the user so they can only input
numerical values. Is there any way to do this? Currently my formatting
works but if the user enters a value manually the formatting is not applied
to the new value. Also I haven't found a way to allow only numerical input....

I'm converting VB6 using True DBGrid Pro 8.0 to VB2005 using DataGridView.
True DBGrid has a MultipleLines property that controls whether individual
records span multiple lines. Is there an equivalent property for the
DataGridView? I have searched, but have not found one.
I would like the user to be able to see all the columns of the table on one
screen - thus eliminating the need to use the horizontal scroll bar to view...

On a form - I have a datagridview which is docked to the entire form. The
datagridview allows users to Delete and/or Add Rows. On the Form_Load event
