Hi,
I wonder if there is any good way in debugging the code not steping
into STL code, it is easy to do in normal statement, just click "step
over", but when there are some STL type variable on the function
argument list, I do not find a way to skip stepping into STL.
Any suggestion?

When I hit the F5 key on my C# ASP.NET Web Application it always asks me
"Debugging Name and Password Required". Is there a way to set my password
somewhere so I don't have to enter it every time? I'm in the Debugging users
group and also Administrator group, etc.
Also when I initially load the solution it asks me for my "Network
Password". Same question. I'm fairly sure this one happens because my
project is on my D: drive and not C:

situations where I am doing a Data Reader loop, where I am processing about
40,000 records. For each record read via the data reader, I am creating
another data reader to read another database table (can't join these tables -
on different machines) to get additional information. I am guessing that I

I have a reference assembly that I wrote. The assembly can throw
exceptions. I am handling these exceptions but, when running my code
from VB, VB still insists on setting a breakpoint where the exception is
being thrown inside the assembly.
Is there anyway to avoid this? If so how?

Hi,
I need the HTML content of an extern webpage.
Normally I just use file(http://externpage); to read the contents.
But with file(httpS://externpage); i get an error.
The script is running under http://, so that is probably the problem
since http can't send to https (right?).
Is there some workarround. I just need the the <formdata from the
extern page.

This all below is my opinion, not any official post though...

1) Have a debugging/error handling system. It is not so difficult to make, I
have made one myself and it really often helped us in development.
2) Test code ALL the time, after every couple of lines, not in big chunks.
3) Leave debugging features inside, even if you use simple lines like:

As I debug the C# code with a break point and by pressing F11 I
eventually get a message stating:
ContextSwitchDeadlock was detected

COM context 0x17abd8 for 60 seconds. The thread that owns the destination
context/apartment is most likely either doing a non pumping wait or
processing a very long running operation without pumping Windows messages.

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
