Listview Tile Size Question.

I have a form with two list views. In one list view the tile size is set to
the default value 0,0. I have not made any changes to these values. In the
other list view the tile size has values. I want to reset those values to
the default values. However if I enter 0,0, those values are found
unacceptable. Question: how can I reset tile size to the default values
(0,0)?
Thank you,
Adrian.

Hi Adrian,

In VS 2005 you should be able to right-mouse click the TileSize property in
the Properties window and select "Reset" from the context menu. I'm not sure
if this works in VS.NET.

Can someone who has downloaded the 2.0 beta version of .Net tell me if TileView is supported in the listview (since this release is supposed to have more support for windows XP and its styles this would seem logical). If so, could you post the system.windows.forms.dll from your GAC so that I can see how MS did it and son't have to reinvent the wheel. Also, if anyone knows a control that implements this, as well as Grouping and other...

When I fill a listview, I resize the columns to fit the data. I need to know if the data will fit vertically or if there will be a vertical scroll bar. I need to know this so I can allow for it on the overall size of the listview. My question therefore is, how can I tell if the items I have added will fit in the listview at its given height? A secondary one, just for interest sake...is there a way to determine the exact heght needed...

Hi all, I want to implement a listview with editable subitems and I assume the easiest way is to overlay a textbox over the item to be edited. With this in mind I have come up with: Using fullrowselect=true in the listview Private Sub ListView1_ItemSelectionChanged(ByVal sender As Object, _

Hi all. I have a problem when I do interop between .NET and VB6. What happens is that the listview loses the tile view when my .NET form is under VB6. Does VB6 support this feature? Thanks.

Ceramic Floor Tile You’re working for a company that lays ceramic floor tile, and they need a program that estimates the number of boxes of tile for a job. A job is estimated by taking the dimensions of each room in feet and inches, and converting these dimensions into multiple of the tile size (rounding up any partial multiple) before multiplying to get the number of tiles for the room. A box contains 20 tiles, so the total number needed...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it. First, let's disable language synchronization. Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
