I'm building a server application which accepts socket connections and
I ran into some problems.
The socket is asynchronous and therefore uses the BeginXXX and EndXXX
methods in the Socket class to receive data. I also use a
ManualResetEvent to signal the main thread when data arrives.

I want to send a file using infra-red to another device using my C#
application. I've got a built-in infrared port on my laptop and wondered
how I would go about programming such an application. Is this possible or
would I need to obtain a stack implementation from somewhere?

I am looking at trying to capture infrared remote control signals and
control my audio/video equipment with my computer. All via C#.
Does anyone know of a few simple c# classes that could work with a standard
USB infrared stick for example?
I have found a few articles but nothing really concrete.

I want to know how I would go about reading signals from a Microsoft
USB infrared receiver I have. It is a product designed for the Media
Center Edition of Windows, but I am pretty sure it can read any
