First, there would have to be a BrowseFolderDia log.....

Just build your own custom Dialog.

AFAIK this is likely most often done with a treeview with checkboxes (check
for example an antivirus or backup software).

As I understand it, when the first page of an application is accessed, all ASPX/ASCX/etc. files in the same folder are compiled using the JIT compiler. Is there a way to turn this feature off? As a developer, I am sometimes working on a single file that is in a folder with many (dozens or hundreds) of other files. After rebuilding the project, I want to look at that one ASPX file. However, I must always wait for all the other ASPX...

I've asked this question before but now I need something different: I need to select files using openfiledialog, which is easy enough. But I want to select a file or files (multiselect) and also single click select a folder or folders (double click would open the folder, as the openfiledialog now does). I don't want to just browse the folder. For example, when I cut a cd using Record Now, it can select both files and entire folders and...

I'm building a web application that is analogous to the Windows XP file explorer in function. The left column contains a TreeView, and the right column a DataGrid populated by selecting TreeView nodes. The TreeView populates dynamically as there are a significant number of nodes. The DataGrid displays both the items and the nodes from the TreeView. Using the explorer analogy this means the TreeView shows folders, and the DataGrid folders...

I'm trying to write a program in VB.net 2003 that basically deletes all files, folders, sub-folders and sub-sub folders (etc). The program is simply for deleting the Windows/Temp folder contents, removing all the files/folders inside it. The problem i am having is that i can only delete files in the Windows/Temp folder, and i can't delete folders if they contain files, i know that you can't do this.

Hi I have a perl script, basically what it is suppose to do is check a folder with files. Now the files are checked using a timestamp with the command ls -l so the timestamp in this format is checked. Now what the script does is it checks the time stamp and creates a year folder if it does not exist and then creates a month folder if it does not exist and puts the respective files in the month folders. If the files are created this month then it...

Using .NET 2.0 is it more efficient to copy files to a single folder versus spreading them across multiple folders. For instance if we have 100,000 files to be copied, Do we copy all of them to a single folder called 'All Files' Do we spread them out and copy them to multiple folders like Folder 000 - Copy files from 0 to 1000 Folder 001 - Copy files from 1000 to 2000 Folder 002 - Copy files from 2000 to 2999

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
