I need to duplicate some of the multi-page tiff and thumbnail viewing
functionality found in the Microsoft Office Document Imaging application for
an in-house company application.
Does anyone know what multi-page tiff controls were used to create the
Microsoft Office Document Imaging app or where I can buy similar .Net
controls that will allow me to view a multi-page TIFF (zoom in/out, display
thumbnails, rotate current frame left/right...

I have multi-page tiff files. I need to extract individual frames from the
multi-page tiffs and save them as single-page tiffs. 95% of the time I
receive multi-page tiffs containing 1 or more black and white CCITT4
compressed files (frames) inside the tiff. Every now and then I receive a
mixture of black and white CCITT4 and JPEG compressed files, and sometimes
just multi-page tiffs with JPEG only. The code runs great when dealing with
the...

I have a query whose results contain the full path (i.e.
c:\Images\xxx.tiff) to MUTI-PAGE (All two page) TIFF documents.
I need to figure out how to BATCH print the tiff's using the path from
the query results.
Currently, I have to select each record individually on a continuous
form (driven by the query results) and click a cmd button to get the
image to open in the windows registered app and print from there. This
works fine if...

Hello,
I have a multipage tiff file which I am trying to output to a web browser
using Response.BinaryWrite. I am taking the tiff file, then looping for
each page and saving it off to a jpg in a memory stream. The problem I'm
having is when the page comes up, only the first image is shown. If I save
each page off in a file I can see that each page is unique and it's not a
problem with the stream, it seems to be a problem with...

Hi All
I have a Base64 encoded string as a resultant parameter of a specific
webservice call.
This string is converted into a byte array and through this, I am saving it
as an image.
Now, even when I get a valid Base64 encoded string for a multiple page
image, I can only get the first page.
My question is:

I need to figure out how to print all pages of the tiff's using the path from
the query results as part of an Access report.
I can use an image control on a report w/ single page tiff's but
haven't figured out how to address the multi page tiff's.

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
