Using Resolver and xslArgumentList together in transform method

Hi all,
i have an xsl with params to be parse using c#. I then used
xslArgumentList and XpathNavigator Classes.
I tried the following:
1-trans.transform (doc,params,wri ter,null). I had am empty result. the
null stands for Resolver.
2-trans.transform (doc, params, wri ter). It works well
3-trans.transform ("input.xml","o utput.xml"). it works well if i
initialise the params in xsl.
Why is there a problem in step 1? i do not understand the function of
the resolver or what its really all about.
thanks in advance

I have an XML document that I am trying to display in my ASP.NET page. I am using an XSL Transform to display repeating XML data in a specific format. It reads the data, and displays it on my page, but there's a problem. It runs all the data together on one line. The XSL file is as follows:

I have an interesting problem. I am performing an XSL transform using the System.Xml.Xsl.Transform class. I have a database that contains the XSL style sheet string. And it seems to work pretty well for simple transforms. But as soon as I add Xsl variables or For each loops to the XSL string in the db, it fails to transform the XML. I can see that it will transform everything until that point. ALso If I copy the XSL & XML I am trying to...

I have a scheduled job that uses different XSL templates to transform XML and save it to disk. I am having problems with the code below. The problem shows up on both my development machine (Windows XP Pro SP 1, .Net Framework 1.1) and on our production server (Windows 2K SP 4, .Net Framework 1.1). I have simplified the code and data to isolate the problem. When I use the xsl:strip-space (Line 12) declaration in conjunction with the xsl:sort...

I am thinking of embedding my schemas as embedded resources instead of reading it using URI at run-time. I came across some snags while trying to do just that such as, previously unknown to me, XmlValidatingReader.Schemas.Add was using XmlValidatingReader.Resolver to resolve my schemas using the URI method. Resolver property was never set, so the reader simply ignored any external references even though one of the schema explicitly imports...

I am trying to transfor an XML document prior to loading into a Dataset. My problem stems from the known bug in Visual Studio that prevents loading a well formed XML because of duplicate child names: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;325696 Anyway, I want to transform the XML using the XSLT to get around this problem, but I am having a tough time coming up with a way to apply the XSLT before loading it into the...

QUESTION: Does anyone know how I can use v2.6 of the MSXML parser with .NET? BACKGROUND: I "Web to Print" process that allows our clients (newspapers) to export their data and pass it thru a custom Xslt stylesheet we have created for their print system. The idea of the whole process for them is they request the export and then they get a text file they can import (copy / paste) into their system with all their styles and layout...

I am having trouble getting a transformation to work. Basic transformation works locally - i.e. if I have the XSL on a local system it all works as it should. My XSLT uses references another external XML document. When I move the XSLT to a UNC it stops pulling in nodes from an external XML, using a 'document' reference in the XSLT. The 1.1 framework seems to

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
