Hi,
I haven't found anything like this anywhere with Google, so I'm posting
it here, hoping one of you people knows how to do something like this.
I'm trying to get the mouse coordinates in a div, as opposed to relative
to the screen.

I have a form that is 2000x700 it is meant to be run across two monitors
I want to get the mouse position relative to the form not to the screen is
there any kind of way to reference the forms position on the screen, to tell
where the mouse is in relation to the form and so that I can know which part
of a panel someone clicked on.
thanks in advance

The subject line sounds a little funny, let me quickly explain:
I have created a custom control using ComboBox. But inside my class, I need
to know when the user does NOT click my control.
Of course, I can capture the event Click when someone clicks on the actual
control, but not when they click off of it.
Right now I am using the event handler myCustomControl.LostFocus, but that
requires someone to click on another button or text...

If I have a number of random applications open, move the mouse cursor
to a given position and do a click, the application gets the focus.
That is what this simple code should illustrate:
Dim pt As Point
Dim wnd As IntPtr
Const WM_LBUTTONUP = &H202 '//LButton up
Const WM_LBUTTONDOWN = &H201 '//LButton down

Is it possible to simulate a mouse click in the window I made (it's a
Form), but not give it focus?
I tried using WinAPI's mouseevent and SendMessage of
WM_LBUTTONDOWN/WM_LBUTTONUP as suggested by the folks in #winapi on
EFnet, but I think those require the window to have focus. Either that,
or I'm doing something else wrong. The click actually seems to work
once, and then stops working... I have no idea what is the problem
actually....

Hi all,
My development environment is VB 6.0, and my OS is winxp. I would like to know how to find the mouse location at a control when the mouse is point at that control. The problem is that the mouse "whatever" events will not fire since the mouse is hjhack by other control. Anyway, I have the following code and I can check is the mouse over the control or not, however, I cannot find out where the mouse location at that control.

I made a game with a window form that needs to record the mouse
position to an array at 100 samples per second, so I use the mouse
move event to do the job.
The problem is the mouse move event is raised by my software at max 30
times per second. I have determined I should use a timer event on
every 10 msec to raise the mouse event, but then I need the same mouse
event that is sent to the mouse move function in the mouse move event
how...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
