Hi,
I'm facing an issue to send data throught the HttpWebRequest processing,
I'm using the Method POST with a multipart form/data.
While writing a file, my application is buffering the whole size of the
file, and it sends it... That's pretty sucks with large file.
while ((bytesWritten = fileStream.Read (b, 0, 4096)) 0)
{
newStream.Write (b, 0, bytesWritten);
newStream.Flush ();
this.singleFile ProgressBar.Per formStep();
}
newStream.Close ();
I thought this piece of code will resolve my problem, but the Flush()
Method must be overrided.
How to flush the data on each turn during my loop ?
How can I override the Flush() Method ? I really don't know what to code
inside of it.
Thanks !

What type has newStream? How do you obtain it?

Hi,
I am having problems setting the HttpWebRequest Date header. I understand
that it is a restricted header and I do receive the
"This header must be modified with the appropriate property." Is there a
way to make sure that the date header is sent over or a way to work around
this exception?
Here's a sample of the code:

I am trying to share a file stream between two threads,
but havent got a clue as to how to do it.
The first thread will be reading the file, and the second
thread will(/might) be writing to the same file stream. I
was going to pass a ref to the file stream to the second
thread, but the problem comes when I am trying to read
from one section of the stream and write to another. I
dont want one thread changing the position of the stream...

It's been a while since I programmed in C++, and the language sure has
changed. Usually I can figure out why something no longer compiles, but
this time I'm stumped. A friend has a problem he hoped I could solve,
and I couldn't. Some code he's using, written in 1999, that compiled
fine in 1999, no longer does in 2006 with g++ 4.
This little bit of code:

Hello,
I am trying to post XML documents to a third party using the
HttpWebRequest. This URL uses HTTPS (SSL) but I don't have a client
certificate to deal with. Apparently they are using WebMethods as the
platform that receives these postings. I don't have any experience
with that technology.
The sample below is the from test app that I put together to post the
XML (cXML Order Requests) documents. These documents, at least my

I have a problem with a httpwebrequest that I am creating. The request in itself looks correct but using fiddler I see that a www-authentication header is sent along as well. The code is pasted below. I do not add any www-authentication header here so I was wondering if anyone knows how to remove it.
I have used almost 2 days trying to figure this out so help would be highly appreciated.

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
