I would need a "script" that parses the following information in
'outdoor.txt'.
What i actually need are those variables (for example $yTemp). I'd do it
myself but my knowhow lacks ;D
outdoor.txt is input and variables are "output" which i need to make graphs
(jgraph)
-------OUTDOOR.txt-------
Date; Time; Temp øC

Does anyone know of a good graph API ? The only one I found for Python is
part of kjbuckets
(http://starship.python.net/crew/aaron_watters/kjbuckets/kjbuckets.html),
but I was looking for something more sophisticated; I am more concerned
about elegance and extensibility than top performance. JUNG
(http://jung.sourceforge.net/doc/manual.html) for java looks more promising.
Does anyone have experience with it or some other relevant framework...

Hi there,
A few weeks until I begin my journey towards a degree in Computer
Science at Canterbury University in New Zealand,
Anyway the course tutors are going to be teaching us JAVA wth bluej and
I was wondering if anyone here would be able to give me some tips for
young players such as myself, for learning the language.
Is this the best Newsgroup for support with JAVA?

Hi All,
In PHP I want to create a graph by getting the data from database so I have looked in some sites like
- http://www.maani.us/charts/index.php?menu=Gallery
- http://www.zend.com/zend/tut/tutsweat3.php
So in the above sites what I understood that in the first one we need to include a library file charts.php which I have done and I am able to create graph charts but those are not dynamic and in the second one I found that we need...

I'd need some library to easily draw flowcharts (for example b-trees)
etc. via Java APIs
I found JGraph, but it's quite chubby. Is there anything
(opensource/free) similar but smaller?
I remember there was something, but I couldn't find it (I see many
diagram related tools, but they don't fit for what I need).
Thanks!

Hi,
I need to develop a user control which displays some rectangles and
polygons. To draw something like this seems to be easy but I need the
functionality that the user can click on some lines to select these
lines of a polygon them. Is there a framework available like eclipse
GEF or JGraph in Java.
Thanks for every hint

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
