GDI+ error writing bitmap image

I am getting following error when I click ok.

I have got this error while writting images in windows application.I am
using visual studio 2005

I tried to get the exact error by putting my code in try catch block,
and then the first error displayed is

Parameter is not valid

A generic error has occurred in GDI+ System. Drawing at
System.Drawing. Bitmap.ctor (string filename...)etc .

Somewhere I read that it could be because bitmap objects do not release
the memory implicitely,so I even tried by disposing the object
explicitely

I tried by disposing my Bitmap object after saving the image and even
cleared the destined images folder, but problem still remains the same.

It runs well on system having visual studio installed, but doesn't
run on systems having only .net framework.

I HAVE tried on 2 different systems having dotnet framework, so it does
not seems to be corruption of framework.

Somewhere I also read that it could be because of permissions, but if it
is running on visual studio0 machines than I believe it should run on
machines with .net framework also, because both have the same
permissions.

Can you kindly help

Thanx for your help

I am trying to create graphics with GDI+ that include transparency. However, the transparency never seems to show up, even though my colors have an alpha value of 0. How can I generate a graphic that is completely transparent in certain areas (so that the web page background shows through)? I save my graphics as gif files. I would appreciate, if possible, a simple example so that I can see the code. Thanks. -- Nathan Sokalski...

I'm writing a program that deals extensively with the printer. For the most part my application runs fine, but occasionally I run into some Exceptions. The most common exceptions I run into are NullReferenceException and InvalidOperationException : The object is currently in use elsewhere. Unfortunately this appears to be a race condition. These exceptions appear to ocurr while disposing GDI+ objects, the Graphics object seems to be the...

This may be a stupid question, but if I don't ask I'll never know ;) Ok, here it goes.... I am writing an application that renders an image in one picturebox and a graph in another. The image is drawn by loading a jpg into a bitmap and then setting picturebox.image = mybitmap. Ive created my own class, inheriting from the picturebox and overriding the OnPaint event so I can do e.Graphics.DrawImage (this.image....). This renders...

Howdy, I have a function that uploads an image and that works great. I love ..Nets built in upload, so much easier than 3rd party uploaders! Now I am making a public function that will take the path of the uploaded image, and resize it with the provided dimensions. My function is below. The current function is returning an error when run from the upload function: A generic error occurred in GDI+. Not sure what exactly that means. From what...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...
