Hi folks,

is there anyway to incorporate this functionality to our code? i.e., Is
there anyway to use the same dilaog box within an application to send
some sort of data when the application crashes ro support@our_app .com?
Any help would be highly appreciated,

If I remember correctly, you can register some account in Microsoft
website, so you will be able to retrieve any crash reported from your
program.
Hi,
That dialog is shown by windows, not your program. You better try to look in
MSDN cause there should be docs about this feature, basically what it does
send and how.

I have reviewed the many postings on this topic and understand the
principle, but am not sure where in my case to apply trapping an error.
I have created a form to supply parameters to a report. I click on the
command button to open the report, the form opens as it should and the
parameters are entered. Upon clicking on "OK," the underlying query is
executed. It is at this point, the the error message appears. The
dialog box disappers as...

I am sure this has been asked at least once before but I could not find
anything when searching.
If I set the value of the ExitCode property to 1066 for a windows service,
the text "A service specific error occured: 0." How do I (if it is possible)
change the value of the zero to something custom (like a "look in the event
log for further information" message)?
Thank you,

I have created a report and subreport in VB/ASP.NET. The report works fine
but the subreport will not display. The subreport, when displayed as a
standalone report, works fine.
Any help I can find on this error refers to the WinForms.ReportViewer and
none to the WebForms.ReportViewer.
Anyone have any guidance?

Hello,
I have a report that I open that pull its data from a form that builds a where string. Opening the report first opens the form, where I enter criteria, and then pulls matching records from a table, opens the report, and closes the form. The code on the report is below.
I used this code on a similar report that also pulled its data from a form (the difference was that that form supplied criteria to an actual query - my new form...

Hi,
My C# application trys to access directorycontext during Form loading. Try
and Catch if there is an exception. I then output an error message and then
"this.Close();" to exit the application. But, as my applicaiton closes, the
MS dialog comes up asking to send Error Report to MS.
I tried using ThreadException event code from:

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
