Hi,
I'm looking for a way to enumerate the domains within my network. I
can find functions within the win32net library to enumerate computers
within a given domain, but is there a way I can get a list of the
domains themselves?
Thanks,
Jason

Hi,
Given a singly linked, null terminated list, how can it be converted to
tree? Each node in the list has three attributes: it's ID, it's parent
ID and of course, the next node it's pointing to. The parent id of root
of the tree is 0. The length of list is not known. What will be the
optimal solution?
Node* convertToTree(Node* listHead);

Hello all,
This is my first post in this forum
My problem is:
I have to list all domains, computers, users and groups here...we have some
domains, plus 20.000 computers (with NT/4, XP and 2003 Server) and more
some users...we need to know how many users we have in each domain, and who
are they and the same for computers...

My TCL proc, XML_GET_ALL_ELEMENT_ATTRS, is supposed to convert an XML
file into a TCL list as follows:
attr1 {val1} attr2 {val2} ... attrN {valN}
This is the TCL code that does this:
set contents ]; close $fileID

Hi guys,
I've been plugging away at this for a few hours and it's really frustrating me. I have a requirement where I must enumerate domains (and all child domains) in a large forest where I do not know any details about the forest. The solution must be in C#.net 2005. I located a vbscript that worked ok but it must be in C#.
The part I am stuck on is objRootDSE = GetObject("LDAP://RootDSE") which has no equivelent in c#. I'm very...

Hi! I have a Binary tree object that works fine.
Now I was asked to define a Forest that should look like this:
Forest{
String NameProc
Array of Binary tree
}
A Forest is defined by a NameProc (the name of the process that generates the Forest) and a finite list of given states s1,s2,..,sn, each state generates a Binary tree.
I need to create a list of objects that can be Binary tree or Forest, so my list could look like this:...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
