Hello,
I am familiar with obtaining source file reference material from the system
clipboard using the old Win32 API.
For example, copy an Excel chart onto the clipboard and goto Word. Under,
Edit & PasteSpecial, there is a label called "Source:" which will contain
the file path, etc.
How can one obtain the source file reference material utilizing .Net

Hi,
I am trying to execute some code compiled by g++ on Linux and have
found that after some time, the program allocates a huge amount of
swap space (250MB on my machine which has 512MB physical) and (700MB
on another server with 1GB physical RAM).
I have used vmstat to trend the amount of swap and observed that the
memory is not being "thrashed" and there is simply a large amount of
data that has been swapped out. This still slows...

I'm writing an application that will pass a large amount of data between
classes/functions.
In C++ it was more efficient to send a pointer to the object, e.g structure
rather than passing the actual structure itself.
Is this true of C# also?

I need to process large amount of data. The data structure fits well
in a dictionary but the amount is large - close to or more than the size
of physical memory. I wonder what will happen if I try to load the data
into a dictionary. Will Python use swap memory or will it fail?

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
