Source of Standard Button Graphics

Microsoft seems to do a great job of using very nice button graphics for
standard functions like Print, Print Preview, Close, etc.

Can anyone point me to a source on the web for standard button graphics? I
really like the Microsoft versions, but I'm open to all

Thanks,

Hi,

There is no source for the win graphs, of course you can always copy & try
to manipulate it with photoshop or something like that.

Not sure how legal this is though.
Remember there people that gets paid for that !

I posted because I hoped someone could save me all the digging it took to
find this. Here's the follow up, which hopefully saves someone else the
trouble:

To install the Visual Studio 2005 Image Library
Locate the file VS2005ImageLibr ary.zip. This file is normally installed in
\...\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio 8\Common7\VS200 5ImageLibrary\.

Right-click VS2005ImageLibr ary.zip and click Extract All.
The Extraction Wizard appears.
Follow the directions in the wizard to extract the images.

cool! Thanks for digging.

I use this tool: http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/iconsext.html
it works perfect and lets you rip icons out of just about any exe, dll, ocx,
etc

Since we don't sell our software, it's all for internal use.. I really don't
care about using someone else's icons.
Try this app out, it's one of the freeware apps that is worth the time
downloading and using, it's simple and does exactly what it should.

Guys,

I'm particularly partial to these icons, the Silk Icon set:

And with a Creative Commons Attribution license, who could ask for more. <g>
