Hi all!
I have problems when writting bitmap to a byte array and after reading it
back form byte to Bitmap object.
What I do is this: First I throw Bitmap to a memory-stream and then I write
it into byte from a stream.
Exception (System.ArgumentException: Invalid parameter used) occurs when
reading from byte over a memory-stream back to the Bitmap object.
Please help, I'm really stuck here!
Here's the code I use (Sorry for a long...

I'm having a problem saving my bitmap in my MySQL database. Apparently it's
too big...but it shouldn't be. Here's what I got:
Dim bmpDocument As Bitmap = Bitmap.FromHbitmap(hDibCopy) ' get image from
scanner
Dim bmpResize As New Bitmap(bmpDocument, 680, 880)
mySQLManager.InsertDBImage(elmImageIndex, intNextDocument, bmpResize)

I get a generic error (not very helpful) when attempting to save a
re-sized image back to its original location. Here is the code snippet:
Dim g As System.Drawing.Image =
System.Drawing.Image.FromFile(Me.File1.Value)
Dim thisFormat = g.RawFormat
Dim imgOutput As New Bitmap(g, 800, 600)
Dim strFileType As String
Dim strFileName As String = File1.PostedFile.FileName

Hello,
I am developing a video recording (mjpeg) system which records large
binary files. I need to read the JPEG data from the binary file and
create a bitmap object to be displayed. Unfortunately I cannot find an
efficient way to do this in C#. I need to do this at 10fps+ with 1hour+
data files.
My current approach is read a byte from the filestream, then create a
MemoryStream to the created byte and then a bitmap from the memory

I'm using TCP/IP to send a Bitmap object over Sockets. This is my first
time using C# at all so I don't know if this is the "right" way to do
it. I've already found out several times the way I was doing something
was really inefficient and could reduce 10 lines of code with 2, etc.
For reading, I am using a TcpClient and I call
NetworkStream ns = client.GetStream(); to get a stream
stream.Read(buffer, 0, buffer.Length);

I've been looking on the Internet for a way to convert a DIB to a Bitmap
without success.
Now I'm wondering if that is the approach I should be taking.
All I want to do is display the DIB or draw it into a Bitmap.
Is there a graphics method that can help?

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
