I'm writing an Addin for Outlook using C#. I am able to create the interface
to my Addin by adding Menus and Buttons to the Outlook Menu and Toolbar,
respectively.
I'd like to add one particular button to the Toolbar, but I'd like it to
function like a menu. Basically, like the native 'New' button which has a
small down arrow and drops down to show a list of items (e.g. Mail Message,
Contact, etc.) which can be created.
If you've got a small code snippet to create the button and then add one or
two sub-items, that would be most helpful.
Thanks!

Outlook doesn't support creation of custom "split popup" buttons like that.

I'm having problems with my toolbar button text being truncated when I
use EnableVisualStyles. Toolbar style is Flat, the button is a
dropdown button and I'm setting the buttonsize on the toolbar to 0 in
order to get the buttons to size to the image and text. When the
application comes up, the text for this button shows up minus the last
few characters (i.e. "CSharp" show up as "CSha..."). Anyone run into
this problem? Is there a way...

I have a toolbar and, at run time, putting on a dropdown control and adding
items. All is ok, but I don't know how to catch the click event. The items
are there on the drop down. They are created dynamically so I don't know
what they are at design time. How do I know when one of them have been
selected/clicked?

In access 2003, a toolbar has a dropdown to allow customizing. In
the toolbar properties->options is a checkbox labelled Allow
Customizing. Unchecking this doesn't prevent me from customizing
the toolbar.
Is this a bug? I could not find anything in the KB
Is there something I'm ignoring?
Is there a workaround?

Hello,
i am using visual studio 2003 enterprise architect version. I am making
apps for the .Net framework 1.1. While testing an interface, i discovered
something strange.
In this application we have a standard toolbar that is at the top of the
form window. It contains about 8 buttons that use images from an imagelist.
Sometimes we hide buttons thru the code.
When a button is hidden, i assumed that it wasn't clickable. It appears

I have an Access 2003 front-end database with custom toolbars. The toolbars
work fine.
One annoying feature is that at the far right edge of each custom toolbar
there a small dropdown arrow. When you hover over it with the mouse, a
ControlTip Text of "Toolbar Options" is displayed. If you then click on the
dropdrown arrow, it displays a popup menu of "Add or Remove Buttons", with a
fly-out menu with the toolbar name at the top and...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello

I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
